Warranty Terms & Conditions - 4x4 & Truck Vehicles

Outback Armour warrants its products to be free from faults or defects in workmanship or materials, faulty manufacture or sagging (loss of spring free height or camber of more than 10mm) for the warranty term, from the date of retail sale, where used for the specified intended purpose and application, subject to the following conditions, to the original purchaser only and with proof of purchase, in Australia.

Outback Armour's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product at Outback Armour's option and to the extent permitted by law does not extend to cover claims for any other loss, damage or injury whether as a consequence of or arising from any defect or breakage of the product, or otherwise.

Shock Absorbers, struts & steering dampers

  • 5 years, unlimited kilometres
  • (excludes strut & shock bushings: 1 year)

Coil, leaf & torsion bar springs

  • 5 years, unlimited kilometres

Strut, shock absorber, sway bar & leaf spring bushings

  • 1 year, unlimited kilometres

U-bolts, shackles & pins

  • 5 years, unlimited kilometres

Upper Control Arms

  • 1 years, 20,000 kilometres
  • (where lift does not exceed 50mm)

Other suspension components

  • 5 years, unlimited kilometres

Recovery straps

(snatch, winch, tree protector, equaliser & tow)

  • 3 years

Bow shackles, snatch blocks & recovery hitches

  • 3 years

Recovery bags & other accessories

  • 3 years

*5 year warranty is only applicable to products purchased after the 18/03/2023. Products purchased prior to this date are still subject to the 3 Year unlimited km warranty*

This warranty specifically excludes liability for:

  • normal wear and tear and product finish.
  • any labour, shipping/freight, removal, installation or other incidental costs.
  • suspension products used in: off-road motor sport, military, armoured vehicles, lifts higher than 50mm or applications for which the product was not originally designed.
  • damage occurring on vehicles loaded in excess of manufacturers GVM specifications, or revised GVM specified and approved by Outback Armour.
  • damage caused by alteration, incorrect installation or fitment, lack of or improper maintenance, unsafe or incorrect use, accident or collision, abuse or neglect.
  • Strut bushes that have been tightened whilst the suspension is hanging. Lower strut mounting bolts must be tightened at ride height (when vehicle is on the ground supporting its own weight).
  • Struts that have been assembled with the use of air or impact tools.

Enquiries & Claims

Warranty claims should be made directly with the authorised dealer where the products were purchased from or directly with Outback Armour under approved circumstances. Product may be required to be returned to Outback Armour for warranty inspection.

All warranty claim submissions must be submitted with proof of purchase for the products, a completed fitting/install sheet and a completed Warranty Claim Submission form.

Australian Competition & Consumer Act 2012

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
